Online Irish Repertoire with Owen Marshall

About this Event

This Online, 4 week, intermediate level class taught by Owen Marshall will expand your Irish instrumental repertoire as Owen features some less common tunes in the traditional canon. In addition to learning a tune a week, we will explore ornamentation and variations, while building harmonic foundations and chord knowledge within each tune. Next time you sit in your local Irish session you can delight your fellow musicians with these gems!

Classes are kept small to maintain that fun and personal feeling. All instruments welcome, although fiddle, tenor banjo, flute, accordion and guitar are the most common. Class will be taught the traditional way, by ear.

Tuition is $95 for 4 classes. Sliding scale is available, please contact me for details.

A percentage of profits from the class will be donated to ILAP Maine .

*Please note that class has a minimum attendace of 6. If we do not meet the minimum class requirement it will be canceled and you will immediately receive a full refund.
